Crafted with the finest workmanship and quality long staple organic cotton, your Bhumi towels and bath range products are designed to be enjoyed for years to come. Proper care will ensure longevity and luxury soft items.
To care for your Organic Bath items, we recommend:
- Wash in cold water on gentle cycle with plant based detergents and no bleaching agents
- To keep your towels fresh naturally, add a cap of white vinegar to your rinse cycle, it not only freshens the wash, it is antibacterial and it also disperses any remaining soap resulting in soft and fresh towels
- To keep your towels soft naturally, add 1/2 cup of bicarb soda to your rinse cycle, it not only freshens the wash, it is antibacterial and it also disperses any remaining soap resulting in soft, fluffy, absorbent and fresh towels
- Wash colors separately
- Shake well before line drying to release any loose fibres. Avoid direct sunlight as this can cause the color to fade
- Can be tumble dried on a low or warm setting
- Make sure it is fully dry before storing away
Note: Shedding is natural with brand new towels and on the first few washes but will definitely stop over time as the fabric settles in.
If you get snags or loops on your towel do not pull it, as this will cause more damage, simply cut it. It may happen with new towels, snags and loops appear as the fabric settles in, simply cut it and give your towel time to settle in.
Take care for the hand knotted fringes with our Turkish Khadi range by using a gentle washing cycle.
