Giving This Holiday Season

Bhumi Organic Cotton - Giving This Holiday Season

"For it is in giving that we receive" - Francis of Assisi

The festive season is a wondrous time to celebrate joy, love, laughter, presents, family and friends and also the perfect opportunity to reflect on ourselves, our ideals, our intentions and our impact on the earth.

It is a time for sharing and giving and we can help to make it the most wonderful time of the year by giving the most important gifts of all; time, love and compassion. It is the perfect time to slow down and simply connect with the meaning of the season, connect with each other and connect with ourselves.

Having a sustainable mindset for the holiday season does not mean it changes the celebration or takes the fun out of it, it may just alter how you celebrate. When choosing presents look for gifts that give back, gifts that are an experience, gifts that do not compromise the earth or her people, gifts that are hand made, gifts that will last. Try to choose no packaging, recycled packaging or recycle your paper and use natural products to decorate like twigs of oregano or fallen branches. Look for decorations that are solar powered or have a go at making your own like cloves and oranges. Turn your wifi off and enjoy moments with your loved ones - bring out the board games, turn the music up, invent games, talk, laugh and enjoy moments.

At Bhumi we believe the best gifts are made with love for the Earth and its people - we have put together a selection of gifts for your loved ones:

  1. Gift Cards
  2. Gifts for Her
  3. Gifts for Him
  4. Gifts under $50
  5. Signature Bedding Gifts

"Christmas is the spirit of giving without a thought of getting. It is happiness because we see joy in people. It is forgetting self and finding time for others. It is discarding the meaningless and stressing the true values " - Thomas S. Monson
