Sustainable Living with Bhumi Interview

A family-owned business in Australia, Bhumi, is making waves for its use of ethically-produced organic cotton products. Vinita is the founder and creative mind behind Bhumi. She sat down with Being Designs magazine to talk about how her company creates products for a sustainable home while minimizing the effects on the environment.

As more of us become conscious of the need to live sustainably, companies like Bhumi are leading the way in sustainable cotton production. This Australian-owned family business is dedicated to helping Australians change the way they think about and consume cotton products. Their sustainable luxury products are made from certified organic cotton and are ethically made. Plus, they work hard to ensure that we leave a lighter footprint on the planet by planting trees and being carbon neutral.

According to Vinita, Bhumi means Mother Earth in Sanskrit. Sanskrit is one of the oldest languages in the world. Bhumi is a reminder of the ancient connection to the natural world and the wisdom that is born of this connection. When people live with awareness and reverence for Bhumi, they are better able to care for nature and their life.

Bhumi only uses certified organic cotton in its products, which means that the cotton is grown without the use of harmful pesticides and chemicals. This is not only better for the environment, but also for the farmers and workers who are involved in the production process. In addition to using organic cotton, all of Bhumi's products are ethically made. This means that the workers who produce the products are paid a fair wage and work in safe and decent conditions.
